Enhanced Language Training (ELT) Program for Internationally Educated Engineers and Health Care Professionals

• Classes for Engineers and Medical Specialists are Monday to Thursday evenings 5:00pm - 9:00pm for 18 weeks so you can attend classes even if you work during the day.
• Customer Service classes will be offered Monday to Thursday 1 pm to 5 pm.
• There is a non-paid 2-week job-shadow placement for qualified participants in your field to get Canadian experience and a local reference.



What will you learn?

• Language Skills – focusing on speaking and listening, pronunciation and specialized reading and writing skills
• Understanding the Canadian workplace by visiting companies and speaking with local professionals and daily practice of Canadian Business and Work Culture
• Computer Skills - daily practice using Microsoft Office, the Internet & other software
  

  Join us if you are:

• Internationally educated (outside of Canada) and living in Canada for 5 years or less
• Having difficulty finding a job because of language skills
  • You can be employed or looking for work
• A permanent resident or refugee
• Have 1 of the 4 Canadian Language Benchmarks at level 6
